common cold
« on: March 03, 2014, 06:37:43 PM »
even the common cold scares me.This is my second cold in less than a month. With this cold my heart is racing is this common? I can have a sore throat and think the worse. Why do the symptoms of nothing serious scare me and put me into a panic?

If you are congested yes, it is common for the heart to race because you are stuffed up (or things are swollen - sinuses, airways) and you aren't getting the normal amount of oxygen.  So your heart will go faster.  Your blood pressure will also go up when ill - ALL normal.  It's natural for your body to react that way.  It also goes races if you have a fever.

If you're getting chronic colds, check your vitamin d levels.
