I would contact your dentist immediately in the morning. It's definitely not a tumor. It is common for this to happen. I had an aunt who had the same procedure done and the same result. I'm not sure what she found out about it.

You'll be fine, it ain't gonna kill you but I HIGHLY suggest seeking out your dentist tomorrow or at least asking the front desk about that.

It's not uncommon, but I'm not sure what it could be.

Also...

If you have no luck with your dentist... I highly recommend discussing the local anesthesia.. demand the name of it... You need to know this, because not to worry you but to keep you aware, there are some complications with the anesthesia they use... I had a friend who lost feeling in his tongue.

I would find that out also and ask him if you were successful with it.

Swelling is obviously going to happen, but to play it safe you are best to get it checked out to make sure it isn't blood-filled swelling

I recently had my tooth #30 filled and she told me that she really believed it would need a root canal. Here it is two weeks later and I am having pain and headaches along with some ear pain. While touching it shortly ago I also felt like there was something hard there. My guess is that it is infected and I will need to take antibiotics. I also believe this may be the case for you too. Really he should of had you finish out the meds.
I'd call in the morning and see if they can't see you. I don't think it's anything too serious though.
