Weird feeling when I breathe deep
« on: February 23, 2014, 07:59:44 PM »
I know I have been posting a lot and asking a lot of questions, but it seems more symptoms keep bothering me as soon as the old ones dissappear, and I don't know if any of this is normal.

So I had a flu, had a productive cough for about a week and a half, the coughing stopped about 2 days ago, but now when I breathe deeply I have this weird feeling which I can't locate exactly, it's either in a lower part of my lungs or it might just as well be in the upper part of the stomach. If I breathe fast enough, it will make a weezing-like noise, not very far from the stomach noises we get when we are hungry or smth, but not quite the same either. Ever now and then I also feel some pressure on my chest. None of those things happen all the time, just every now and then.

My first instinct was to try to "cough out" what's in there, but I have no urge to cough, and also nothing happens if I do cough. What is this?

sounds like anxiety to me from the left over "stuff" that was going on when you were sick. i wouldn't worry too much about it. if i were you, i would try and get as much fluids in you as possible, even though you think you're not still sick or whatever.

So is it like normal that there is still stuff left over in my lungs somewhere? I admit that my productive cough was probably the most intense I ever had in my life, there was a lot I had to eliminate, but what worries me is ... why don't I feel the need to cough if that is mucus, and why isn't it going out when I do cough?

And yet again, why can't I access the chat?

I also wonder what's up with the chat

And yea, I have the same thing after getting a flu, altho no cough but a weird pain on the upper left inner rib just below the sternum and it feels like I have mucus but I can't cough it out

Also have a metallic taste from what little mucus does come up

During the night, the feeling completely went away. I don't know if I should go see a doctor anyway or not. I have no medical insurance, so it costs me out of my pocket, but at the same time is there any price for knowing you're ok? I really don't know what to do.

Perhaps your abdominal muscles are tired from all the coughing?  Either way, keep resting well and eating well to help your body recover.
