The good news is, when I last posted it was about a week of absolute terror over HUGE lymph nodes in my neck. I got a biopsy - no cancer was found. What a HUGE relief that was. I felt like I had a whole new lease on life!
Last night however, I found a small, slightly hard, pea sized lump over my thyroid. But this time, I don't want to jump to it being thyroid cancer. I read that the thyroid can develop lumps all the time. In fact this happened to my mom and it was cysts. However, I do know a girl who had thyroid cancer and she's a little younger than me (I'm 23.)
How likely can it be? I'm a 23 year old woman... I do feel really tired lately and sometimes have trouble breathing, but my anxiety has been... not too great since I've been tapering off my medication (Effexor).
What do you guys think?
