So, i posted about this a little while ago, so let me recap for a sec:
I was recently tested for lymes disease. First, it came back "overall negitive, but possibly a little positive". Say what??
My doctor explained that it had to do with the fact that the western blot test that is currently used for lymes is so hyper specific that it will pick up any--whatever that means. Any way, she retested with another test, I guess a deciding factor kind of a thing, and that was totally normal. So, she concluded that I didn't have lymes disese.
The thing is, I've read up a little about it and so I know lymes is sort of hard to diagnose. Should I persue additional testing because part of it was infact positive? I've heard of people being diagnosed with lymes when all their tests are negitive, so what gives?? Its one of those sneaking weird things.
So, if anyone has any lymes ideas do let me know.
