Update on my irregular bleeding and Endo Biopsy results
« on: February 14, 2014, 09:54:46 AM »
I got a call today from my GYN office. My endo biopsy results were completely negative. So, to Sunlover....I guess you were right. It is my hormones at 46 yo. I am still spotting, I started spotting on day 18. It is day 21 and still no period so at least it didn't come before 21 days. Oh this is going to be a not-so-fun roller coaster ride into menopause. Which could last a month, or several more years. At least there is nothing wrong. Thank you.

Hi dancer,

I am going through menopause. I am 46 yrs young and have missed many periods now. But in between missed periods, I had a very light spotting and my obgyn had an ultrasound done and found a small polyp in my uterus that needs to be removed. She said that is the cause of the spotting. I keep procrastinating the procedure, since I heard that mostly polyps are benign there... But it is on the back of my mind.

This is a difficult time for us menopausal women. Changes every day but we need to make the best of it. Hit flashes are the most bothersome so far..

Wishing you well!
