I was prescribed beta blockers because my heart beats crazy all the time. It can go up to 200 in 30 seconds just by me jogging, etc, etc. So I was prescribed beta blockers.. I took one and had an anxiety attack. It worked fine. But I am convinced that they are dangerous and will eventually kill me by lowering my bp to low! My BP on Friday was 100/80 how could I take them long term with that kind of bp? I'd probably pass out all the time. My resting heart rate is 60-65 at night.. I would freak out if my heart rate became to low.. Also, I don't like how you cant stop taking them when ever you want.. I don't like that you have to lower doses.. it scares me. Makes me feel like it is a physical addiction. Are my worries legitimate ? I really want to take them because I know I need them.. but I cant muster up the courage to take them.. I have a pill phobia as well.. and it certainly does not help.
