I have the same issues, for me it is mostly situational as my first big panic attack happened to me in a hotel room when I was by myself. I have anxiety other times but it doesnt get to a panic attack.
Every time I'm in a hotel by myself an hr or two after falling asleep my body wakes me up and I feel I can't breathe, throat closing, body shaking, a feeling of needing care and not being able to notify anyone.
Sometimes breathing stops it, sometimes I have to get in the shower to calm down. I can't break this as I've been dealing with it for almost 3 years. Logic tells me it only happens in a hotel so its not medical, but logic is hard in a state where you were just awoken in a panic.
