Newcomer: Anxiety or unruptured brain aneurysm
« on: February 08, 2014, 11:05:47 AM »
So I've recently been diagnosed with panic disorder and GAD (I'm also a massive hypochondriac). My pysych is having me do CBT. Anyways, now that I'm over my fear of having a brain tumor I have a new fear... an unruptured aneurysm.

It started when I read that the symptoms of an unruptured aneurysm include "Localized headache, blurred vision, Pain above and behind eye, Weakness and numbness, Difficulty speaking, dilated pupils"

I have 3 of those symptoms:
Localized headache, blurred vision, Pain above and behind eye.

periodically i will get weakness and numbness in my leg, but it's usually after sitting for a while.

I should also mention that the headache isn't always present, sometimes it's else where, but when it is in the same spot, it's always the same headache, it's like a quick shooting pain that happens sometimes when I turn my head. Also, I'm a software engineer so I'm on a computer almost all day (might be causing the headache?)

Some other symptoms:
Ear always feels full.
I clench my teeth a lot

Sounds like a migraine or tension headache. Talk to your therapist about it.
