Hi mamfymoo,

Welcome to the forum.  You are now a member of our community, where you will find support and advice from other members in similar situations.   It's always nice to find someone else who understands, and to know you're not alone.

We have sections in the forum that address specific concerns, so feel free to post or start a new topic in the section that best fits your situation.  Feel free to explore the rest of the forum.  You may find the other topics helpful, and you may be able to offer advice or support to someone else.

We also have a chat room for members over the age of 18.  Once you have made three meaningful posts, you will be allowed access to the chat room.

Mam, I SO understand what you are talking about.  I've always been a bit of a worrier, but my anxiety really began when my mom had three strokes and my dad had heart problems.  Then some other traumatic things happened, and BAM, I thought I would have a "nervous breakdown".  My doc prescribed Lexapro, and although I hate taking meds and was resistant, I had to do something.  I took meds for 9 months, and during that time went to therapy and learned strategies for dealing with my anxiety (and depression).  I'm now med free, and SO much better, but I never would have gotten here without the Lexapro.

Talk to your doctor and see if he can prescribe something, and or therapy.  You may not need it forever, but it can really help.

Good luck to you, and again, welcome to AZ.

Welcome to the boards,

I'm pretty new here as well, it's a great place to discuss situations and find some peace. Plenty of members here to help with any questions you might have, they've done so for me. Hope to see you around.

Take care,

David

Hi I am also a 36 year old woman and have suffered a lot of losses over the past years.  It does take its toll for sure and sometimes it seems you don't get over one passing before another one happens.  I am sorry for your losses.  I hope that we can all be of support and encouragement to you.  Welcome to the site.
