Ups and downs 3 months into lexapro
« on: January 24, 2014, 03:35:08 PM »
I've been on lexapro for 3 months now, feeling decent since being in 10mg a month ago (worked my way up). Things seemed like they clicked last week, feeling almost normal again...then 2 days ago I started to feel anxiety ramp up again in the mornings and throughout the days. Is this common to have ups and downs so far into treatment? Not sure if it should be smooth sailing from this point on with depression and anxiety or am I slipping? It's definitely not as bad as when I first started but it's low lying and uncomfortable now. :(

Hey, LynnC!  :action-smiley-065:

Speaking from my own experience and discussions with fellow warriors, setbacks are common. Normal. Feeling almost normal again is a good sign. Do not take bad days as slipping.
However, you might wanna discuss lexapro in 'meds and therapy' forum. Might get more feedback there.

Hope you feel all well really soon!
