Article about "Wait and See" Lymphoma- HELPFUL!
« on: January 23, 2014, 04:46:17 PM »
I found this great article while doing a net search on Lymphoma.  I have a lump in my neck that I believe to be a firm irregular node.  It did not show up on the ultrasound (due to the location, there was some doubt that it would), so my doc wants to do a "wait and see".  This has made me really really anxious, and I have been afraid that I am just waiting for my cancer to spread. This article really helped put many of my fears to rest.  https://www.lymphomas.org.uk/sites/default/files/pdfs/Understanding-watch-and-wait-for-lymphoma.pdf

This was very helpful, thank you. As someone with a chronic fear of lymphoma, this helped me put a lot of my 'Doom and Gloom' to rest.
