I've had the same exact thing happen to me before
I was sitting in church listening to a sermon when mine happened....
It was terrifying!
I thought I was going to die right there where I was sitting in my pew!
It felt as if my heart stopped, I got this rush through my body, I got dizzy...felt like passing out, couldn't breathe and got nauseated.
But, if your heart would have really completely "stopped" for that long they would have had to use the paddles to get it going again.
Now, people who suffer from Anxiety tend to hold their breath a lot, which can cause your heart rate to go down to almost nothing and when you finally breathe in it can cause the really scary and hard palpitations and stuff. You can also hold your breath and continue to because you freak out (almost like when a child throws a fit and holds their breath)...and you won't be able to feel a pulse in the traditional way (two fingers on your wrist or neck). It's happened to me a few times.
You'll be fine....if you feel the need, please go to a doctor, but, I think you will be okay
