Help! Left leg felt painful while sleeping

I noticed when I was sleeping in the middle of the night was that I was getting leg cramps and it was only my left leg! When I get foot pain it would be my left foot too most of the time. I usually sleep on my left side but I move around a lot in bed. What could it be? I remember that I didn't drink enough water yesterday. I'm scared of MS!

At night we are liable to feel discomfort of one kind or another simply because we are not moving. As soon as we get up, move about, do a few stretching exercises, we feel better. I've had leg cramps as long as I can remember and discovered that making sure legs are warm helps to prevent the cramps. Throw an extra blanket around them.

Staying well hydrated is, as you say, so important. Even at night. Always have water nearby. Wishing you all the best.
