Really, really worried this time - blurred vision
« on: January 07, 2014, 02:07:19 PM »
Hi everyone,

So I'm freaking out basically and can't even concentrate at work. For the past couple weeks my right eye has been blurry on and off. It's almost as if I have a floater in my eye for a few seconds and then it will go away. Then when it goes away I can see totally fine. My co worker googled blurriness in one eye clearly not understanding my level of anxiety and now I'm really concerned.

I am on tetracycline which I have read it can cause vision disturbances but not sure why that would only cause it in one eye. I do have very low iron but my b12 was 305 last I had it checked. I'm only 27, vision is fine. When I had it checked a couple years ago my right eye was not as good as the left but never had these problems.

I'm making an appointment with the doctor, but seriously feel like I am doomed. :(

Anyone ever experience this for reasons that were not terrifying?

I, too, have had blurry eye problems.  More often than not, I find it's my contacts.  Do you wear contacts?
