Set Backs

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place.)

Hi everyone ... I have panic disorder and agoraphobia, and my panic attacks don't have many physical symptoms, but it does come with derealziation, which is probably the worst thing about this.

I had a panic attack yesterday, or well, what felt like one. It wasn't as long as they usually were, and I feel like I avoided it, or got better with coping, but today I can't stop worrying over it.

So does anyone have any tips on how to recover after a panic attack? I keep trying to reason with myself, use logic, and just reassure myself, but I'm still afraid.

Your title says it all. You had a minor setback. The thing is to see it just as that. If you view it as your anxiety coming back full time and keep thinking about it, you are inviting anxiety back into your life again. We all have setbacks. They can make you feel like you let yourself down. Make you feel bad about yourself. You had let nobody down at all. Find something to do. Some form of distraction and forget about yesterday. Move on. Leave yesterday behind you.
