Constant chest pain - teen
« on: December 27, 2013, 01:36:33 AM »
I get chest pain when sitting up after lying down and when sneezing. I also get back pain. I've been less anxious lately but this has gone on for a few weeks and is starting to worry me. When I sneeze it feels like the only part of my body that's moving is my mouth/head. What can this be? I'm 14 so it's not a heart attack. Costocondritis ?

At the moment I also feel like I have to yawn but it fully won't come out. What is happening?

I use to get a lot of chest pain as a teen. Turned out to be the muscles in my chest which were hurting as a result of my posture. Do you carry a very heavy school bag? That is often a cause.
