Brain worries
« on: December 20, 2013, 01:59:36 PM »
Hi everyone,

Over the past four months I've been experiencing various strange things. It all started with heart palpitations and progressed onto having muscle spasms all day every day all over my body. I also get tingling sensations in various places and sometimes head pains or rushes.  I've noticed thay my vision is fuzzier than normal especially when watching bright things. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm usually so healthy.  I can't just be all in my head?

Thank you for reading.

Look up calm clinic anxiety symptoms, I have had all of those symptoms plus tons more that have all be chalked up to anxiety. It is crazy what the mind can do to the body!

I recently was experiencing many of those symptoms and just discovered I do not have a brain tumour through an MRI. I had inflammation and a tension headache. Neurologist said sometimes muscle spasms come from lack of sleep. Still worth getting checked out if you are worried though as it could be a thyroid problem.

So glad you got your MRI pichooi and all was ok! I'm still awaiting an appointment and worrying something chronic! My daily tension pressure type headaches are still happening and I am also getting nauseous. It's so exhausting as I'm sure it's all in my head but just when I think I'm relaxing, it all comes back to scare me with the brain tumour fear! What have you been advised re your headaches?

I'm experiencing tension headaches with nausea right now too and also fearing a brain  tumor. Maybe cause by anxiety, since we are both experiencing the same thing!

Exhausting isn't it! I have an annoying pain around the bank of my head and I feel sick. No tablets are helping. I want to be happy for Christmas :-(

It can and it is. The symptoms you have mentioned are as vague as they come but all of them without exepction are syptoms of anxiety. Your mind is far more powerful than you imagine. You just have to take control of it
