Heart Worries Update :)
« on: December 17, 2013, 08:43:01 PM »
I bit the bullet and seen my dr. my chest and arm pains that I have been having is because my intercostal and pectoral muscles are very very tight and strained! Im not sure what I do to fix this but I booked a massage and have been taking Aleve. she said it is very common in people with anxiety to have very tight chest muscles which will cause the chest pain, also I have quit smoking in the last week so I keep getting "chest tickles" anyone else had this?? its new to me, the first time I had it I freaked out to the point that my arms went cold  Anyways, to the people that talked me down and took the time to respond to my fears THANK YOU!! I love this site and the kind caring people who are here just to listen and offer a little reassurance and advice on how to cope  :action-smiley-065: Hope anyone reading this is having a good day/night!!

When I first started working out in 2007, I had this sensation as well. I could've sworn that I was going to have a heart attack any time.

Eventually, it just went away.
