Hey Everyone,

Just curious if anyone has experienced the following symptom (related to anxiety) and if they have any pointers for reducing / preventing it.

I get this achy, "tight" feeling in my lower chin (like, on the front just below my gums).  It definitely gets worse with anxiety, and if I start to rub it / press on it it only aggravates it and makes it worse.

It also seems to correspond with tightness at the top of my pectorals, like collarbone area.  I feel tightness there and at the bottom of my gums / in my chin.  I imagine it's just tension in that neck muscle, likely exaggerated by anxiety and poor posture.   

Anyway, does anyone experience this (so that I don't worry it's something more malicious) and does anyone have pointers (ie, stretches) that help?

The symptoms of anxiety are always so odd and uncomfortable!  I would guess that what you are feeling is from being tense in your neck and shoulders and maybe having some radiating pain from that OR if you are like me, when I am anxious I'm clenching my teeth and don't even realize it until my ears start hurting!!
