Anxiety recovery and feeling normal?
« on: December 04, 2013, 02:30:46 PM »
So after a long year of dealing with the return of my anxiety symptoms I'm experiencing some relief. The problem is, I have periods of relative normalcy, but I find them... uncomfortable?? It's like I'm so used to be being in an anxious state, it feels odd to not be anxious.  Does that make sense?  Anyone else experience this?

Of course, it would be like if you always wore shoes and then walked around without any on. Soon the weird feeling should go away, and then the anxious feeling becomes the weird feeling. Never thought I'd be where I am today, but once you find the right treatment you can get there.

Thanks guys. This thread will keep me moving right along. I experienced the same thing earlier this year, and I let myself get into a horrible bout of it now just recently...(basically to the point that my very existence seems "abnormal," or maybe even trippy or senseless)...Glad to know that these types of feelings won't leave serious emotional or cognitive scars.
