Lymphoma scare...
« on: December 03, 2013, 05:12:07 AM »
I've had a swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck for a little over a month now, coincidentally the first time I had a panic attack and found out I have major anxiety issues.

I keep convincing myself I have lymphoma, because everything I read says "a node swollen for longer than two weeks is a red flag." I've ALSO read that anxiety can cause your nodes to swell, but I haven't seen a whole lot of evidence behind that. Does anyone else have swollen lymph nodes and have been assured it's not lymphoma? Is it REALLY something that anxiety can cause...?

I have read that it is possible for anxiety to cause swollen lymph nodes, especially, anxiety
attacks.

Have you had a doctor feel your lymph node? Might be worth a visit to ease your mind

Where specifically is the lump? if you trace your jaw line is it near the end just under the jaw line? if so it might be with i had which was a blocked saliva gland. blocked by calcium actually and its non life threatening. Best way to test it is to suck on a lemon and if you can feel the lump get more sore then thats what it is. keep sucking the lemon and the blockage will be free!
