This list was so helpful. I am suffering nearly all of these right now so I will refer back to this list when I have moments of panic. What I find so interesting is the way that these symptoms can rotate within a person. For instance, this week I'm having a problem with headaches, chest pain, and nerve pulses. Two weeks ago, it was headaches and tingling/numbness in my extremities. It seems so random which symptoms will present themselves at any given moment. It is as if my body grows tired of torturing me one way so it decides to employ other tactics haha :-)

New sufferer of HA (I think lol)

Hello Everyone!!

I'm 26 yrs old and I suffer from panic attacks mainly from constant self-monitoring after my first episode which was about a month ago. It seems that I've quickly developed an obsession with my own well being. I've been to the doctor(s) and my stats are as follows:

Head MRI - normal
Head CT scan - normal
Several EKGs - all normal
Stress test - normal
Heart ultrasound - normal
24 hour heart monitor - normal
Inner ear test - normal

Despite all of this, I have had this prolonged sensation of pressure in my head (usually without pain) that comes and goes but is persistent for the most part. This sensation is accompanied by dizziness/lightheadedness which in turn seems to trigger nausea. Could these really be anxiety related? Has anyone else experienced these symptoms on a continuous basis? It can be quite scary especially when the pressure is severe. Thank goodness, most of the time it's mild. I look forward to hearing from you all. I love this community so far. Glad I found it.

Ps. .25 xanax as needed and started Prozac 3 days ago :-)

Thank you for the list. Please tell me if eye floaters could be a sympthom too. They appeared one week after I was abused, and this week I had chronic anxiety and stress. I read somewhere it could be HIV related but I have been tested after 3 months and remained negative... So what was it then? Anxiety ? Please help me I feel so alone and desperate

Great list, really helped me feel calmer about these symptoms.
and in reply to PeaceOfMind, I also get the same pressure feeling and light headedness so often and its the scariest of them all for me. But yes I do believe its just the anxiety.
Also painful aching muscles in arms and legs, ankles wrists.... anybody else?

SammyRiver: YES, muscle tension, pain, soreness, stiffness all over my body. I got an EMG-NC test and it came out normal except for a VERY MILD carpal tunnel syndrome.

Wow, it's amazing how comforting just getting the reinforcements from this list is for me.
I came from an abusive background and suffered from chronic anxiety and panic disorders for years. Rationally, I know what I'm feeling are "just" the symptoms and as unpleasant as they are they won't hurt me. I still, depending on what's going on in my life...right now tons of stress.....I totally freak out from them and get caught up in a cycle of fear and anxiousness and just know I'm going nuts or dying of something not found if googled.
It sucks. I hate being this way.
Anyway. I forgot just how good this forum is....great list. I'm breathing slower and feeling better already

LostdDaniel, I've suffered from panic and anxiety and everything symptom that goes along with them.
Coming from an abusive home without  nurturing , I grew from a anxiety, panic ridden child into a anxiety, panic ridden adult. Hypochondria, when one worries about ones health lot, seems to go hand in hand with anxiety.
I've always had lousy vision and floaters. Not being a Dr, but a follower floater sufferer, I can tell you, the more you look for your symptoms, the more you notice them. They are always there but if your anxious, you will notice them more.
If you are really worried, get them checked for your own peace of mind :-)
I partied REALLY hard from the 1970s into the 1980..... I too though I had to be HIV positive.
If you tested negative, I'm sure you are.
Have you talked to anyone in the healthcare field about how you feel? You needn't suffer from your symptoms ( which is most likely what they are)
It's the symptoms that are scary and the fear of the fear makes it seem worse. It becomes a viscous cycle of fear.
Please see if there is a professional you can talk to. Keep reinforcing the positive posts you see here.
Please don't feel alone...you are among good company as many, many people understand and suffer as you do.
You are not alone
