Question about anti-bacteria/anti-fungal

There's a whole story to this, but I'll just cut to the chase and ask the question. So I have a minor abrasion injury and it started to itch as it began healing. My worry was that it'd become infected somehow. I have an anti-fungal cream from a past, unrelated incident. Would it make sense to apply that cream to the area? And is an anti-fungal cream also, essentially, an anti-bacterial?

I wouldn't put an anti fungal on open skin. And anti fungal isn't anti bacteria.

I agree, no anti fungal seems prudent.  Perhaps a bandaid and something like a polysporin cream.  That's very typical treatment of minor cuts.
