I'm glad I found this community! I've been suffering from anxiety much of my life, although I didn't realize it until recently. Almost 2 years ago, I had my first child and slowly my anxiety took over. I am now seeing a CBT therapist and taking medication, with the diagnosis of panic disorder with agoraphobia.
I'm not house-bound, thank goodness, but there are times I really struggle to do something simple like grocery shop. I feel light headed and like I'm going to pass out.
My biggest fear is something happening to me while I'm in the sole care of my toddler. I'm coming to realize that my 'unsteadiness' I feel a lot of the time (like the floor is moving?) is actually unconscious stress/anxiety.
I'm really looking forward to what this community can offer me, getting better, and then paying it forward.
