I never had anxiety before and since my panic attack I have a lot of anxiety symptoms, did I develop anxiety or is this just the after math of my first panic attack?

I wouldn't say it has to be true at all. It depends on how you react to that first panic attack. I know people who had panic attacks that have no anxiety conditions at all. The mistake a lot of people make is they pair the panic attack with a certain situation. So the next time they are doing the same thing, they remember that panic attack and it can bring on a second panic attack. But it doesn't always have to be the case. People have had a panic attack. And just accepted what they had and were able to move on with their lives. Others tend to dwell on the panic episode. Thus creating their own anxiety.
