Need some advice/reassurance
« on: December 29, 2012, 02:45:22 AM »
So lately ive been very afraid of getting schizophrenia. I don't have any family history or anything. I know its just my anxiety acting up but idk how to stop it. It started in psychology class when the teacher started explaining it and i thought to myself i probably have it. What can I do? I'm a male and 18 years old.  I just wanna know how I can stop thinking I have this thing and move on with my life! Thanks any advice is welcomed. :)

If you are concerned about having schizophrenia, you don't. When someone is psychotic, they don't believe there is anything wrong with them.

Many, many times I felt like I was going crazy. I didn't though, and you are not going there either. It is just another trick that anxiety is trying to play on you. It is an awful, awful thing, but don't give up hope!!
