Sometimes I get out a set of pens and old sketch books and start working over my old drawings while I let music play.
It's more relaxing if I pick a more stylized or abstract one, so I can make it bold black & white.

If I'm stressed out while away from my resources and sketchbooks, I sometimes sit out of view of others
close one eye, and trace the shapes I see with my finger, starting with the contours above the horizon
and moving down to the buildings or trees or cliffs. It stops my mind from wandering to past traumas
or future fears and keeps me in the moment.

I have multiple hobbies, but I would say the chief one that is a direct anxiety reducer is exercise. My current exercise regimen is swimming once or twice per week, and cardio kickboxing or other aerobic class once per week. In addition I try to get out for regular walks. Makes a big difference when I get my exercise!

ART, art is my therapy for sure. Singing random songs badly really helps too.

I like to spend time playing games with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, more often than not, these games can lead to more frustration, depending on what we're playing or what we're doing, or how bad we're doing. Also, I can create issues out of nothing, like if a block is misplaced in Minecraft. I'm thankful he's able to deal with my shenanigans.

Working out would be the obvious one. I think that helps for most people. Other things i do include listening to angry music, drawing depressing evil things, and archaeology. I have to do something hands on..reading a book or something would never help me because i'd get too distracted at the slightest negative/uncomfortable thoughts.

I've taken up piano, self-taught for now. Walking somewhere with my music and headphones helps a lot. I just took up martial arts too which is cool. No time to focus on my health anxiety in the middle of those classes hahaha

Cool about the archaeology! I used to be a professional archaeologist. I must admit I miss it, would love to take it up as a hobby.

I used to build things or play with LEGO's when watching Star Wars. That was always calming. Now I play with my pets more and hang out with my family or someone I'm close to, helps me.

Music and photography. Been a musician since I was 12 and sometimes it's the only thing that calms me down.

I'm a birder so I like to go to a favorite patch and look at birds. Watching them go about their business foraging, taking flight, landing in a tree or bush or on the ground, gives me something fascinating on which to focus. Identification of species is also fun, as I carefully observe a bird's coloration, behavior, and song to reach the correct conclusion. Ah, birds.

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own,
Sometimes we visit your country and live in your home,
Sometimes we ride on your horses,
Sometimes we walk alone,
Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own.

I'm slightly agoraphobic but weirdly driving listening to music relaxes me.  I am happy that at least I am still able to drive even though there are many things I avoid.
