I swapped my coffee for decaffeinated chai tea and it wasn't long till i didn't miss the coffee any more.

I am not a coffee person but a diet coke drinker and after drinking about 5 of those a day and taking about 3 excedrin a day I wondered why I was always on edge, but now that I have stopped I feel worse. I notice if I have just one diet coke, I start feeling a little better. Just my 2 cents. I think in moderation it can do good things, but in excess, like everything else, it can be bad for us.

why do you take excedrine everyday????

I'm so jealous of everyone in this thread who can still have caffeine. I had to cut out all caffeine (even green tea is too much for me) 2 years ago because whenever I'd have any it would lead to an instant panic attack. It's hard not having a crutch like coffee to lean on when I'm tired especially because I have constant sleeping problems. So generally I've just been fatigued constantly for the past 2 years.

I miss coffee!  My poor coffee maker has sat unused for months now  :(  The most caffeine I'll dare have its a bit of Pepsi every now and then and never at night.  I'm terrified it'll worsen the insomnia, which thankfully has gotten better so I don't want to jinx that.
