Blister on Breast
« on: December 12, 2010, 07:14:22 PM »
Guys I am so busy lately that I try not to worry. But I found today a blister on the breast where braline is. I have been working hard lately with that bra. It looks like skin is rubbed off a little bit and red. And it burns.

It could be blister from braline. Just a skin irritation of some sort. I get them here and there. Or inflammatory breast cancer? That sounds itself ridicoulous but that is always in my mind.

Of course I also have a lump behind my ear which also freaks me out about lymphoma.

And I had a lot of menstruation pain this time around which I attribut to ovarien cancer.

Sure I can't have all of this but in the back of the mind my fear is still there even so I think I am doing better but with Elizabeth Edwards dying and leaving kids behind I am full in anxiety mode again.

I just got a huge pimple on my shoulder due to bra irritation.

Inflammatory breast cancer can be 99.9% ruled out, and the lump behind the ear could be a cyst underneath the skin's surface, or it could just be the size of your lymph node. Some peoples' are larger than others. Pain around menstruation time is usually an indication of ovarian cysts.

I just read the symptoms of inflammatory breast cancer on the web sites of the Mayo Clinic and the American Cancer Society.  A blister on the breast was not listed as a symptom, and of the symptoms which were listed, you have not mentioned a single one.

Even if it had been listed, wouldn't it be a remarkable coincidence that the blister appeared in the exact same spot as a blister that had been caused by your bra would have appeared?

Of course, I am a Grandma, not a doctor, and I might have missed pertinent information.  Please do not take my post as indicating that you do or do not have cancer.  I'm just sharing information which I think is correct.

Thank you. It's like a purple sore with skin rubbed off. It really looks like a heat rash there. But it was right at the bra line or where the bra line was. The bra doesn't fit me right anyway.

They say that inflammatory breast cancer usually starts with a pimple or an itch.

This only itched slightly and now it mostly burns.

Orange you aren't helping. First of all all hypcochondriacs google and they find similarities. I would never advise a hypcochondriac to google.

But rest assured I have done this already multiple times and I am worried.

It's a spot where the seam may have hit it. It''s on the right breast and it is red around it. Skin was chafed off . I do have those sores sometimes on other parts of the body but it worries me when it ison the breast.

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state

I Meant to say I never saw the actually blister. It's aburning sensation around the spot. And I am assuming that the side of the bra line may have hit it.
