Shaking on the Inside
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:44:04 PM »
Does anyone get that feeling where you are feeling relatively calm and non-anxious on the outside, but inside, it feels like your nerves are out of whack?  Kind of hard to describe, but it's just like an underlying internal shakiness.  Guess I shouldn't have had that fully caffeinated coffee this morning, apparently.

yes that happens to me sometimes.  it is quite irritating.  for some caffeine can make that happen.

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state

That happens to me, but usually when I am in an acute anxiety state, it is fairly uncomfortable.

I think i've only ever had visible shakiness once or twice. I've had what you've described lots of times though.
