I'm new here and am also a person with Multiple Sclerosis (the real kind lol). Just wanted to let anyone with the MS fear know that I will answer any questions if needed and would love to help everyone through their fears.

I've had MS for 10 years now, still alive and kickin! Not in a wheel chair, not paralyzed, not blind, I'm just me!

I think this post is great for anyone who is worried about any type of major medical concern. Most of us fear some of the worst diseases and these diseases need to be confirmed and treated by a Dr or specialist. She's right we can't diagnose ourselves just with a list of symptoms many of which may be created because our bodies are always on alert for the next thing. I'm sure some things are real but why do we always jump to the worst case scenario?

Just read this and man was the Doc spot on with what we do. The internet is great but it sure does feed my self-diagnosing problems. A few years ago my older and wiser sister told me to get rid of the medical book I had and to relax! Her sto wishing us all some peace

i wish more doctors were like this honestly.. I know it is a very hard to remain patient but still though...it would not kill to be nice at least 90% of the time.

This is hilarious:) This post was orginally from the anxiety site no more panic. Dr Ruthoford Ranes. I remember him posting it and he has a forum there all his own but sometimes he answers some quetions from the symptoms form and he has answered a bunch for me. I thought it funny that there were two 88 year old retired neuorologist then I relised you had said he was a she and laughed. Anyway yes he does seem to good o be true but whomever is replying seems to have a good grasp on anxious people.

Reading that made me feel so much better about my other health anxiety issues.  That was fantastic to read.  Off to do laundry.  Thanks for posting that.
