Wellbutrin XL 300mg side effect inquiry Help =(

Hello everyone.  Long story short... I have gone back to a zoloft/wellbutrin combo for anxiety and depression.  I was taking Zoloft for a month before touching the wellbutrin so Its a safe assumption that these side effects are from the wellbutrin.  I am on wellbutrin xl 300mg each morning.  Throughout the day my arms and sometimes legs get extremely shaky and occassional have random spasms.  Sometimes I can't even control em unless I hold them down myself. Then I get really light headed and feel like throwing up. My jaw will also feel really tense and feels like I have lockjaw and I can't open my mouth. Lastly I'll get a headache on the right side of my head a few inches above my ear.  I used to be on wellbutrin/zoloft back about 2 years ago and never experienced any of this.  I know seizures are one of the side effects of wellbutrin and I always get scared that what I'm experiencing is going to lead to a seizure.  Can anyone tell me if this is how a seizure starts? Or do they just happen out of the blue without any signs?

Next problem I started having is when I'm out in public now I get these feelings... ummm the best way I can describe em are out of body experiences.  I get really light headed and I feel like I'm floating out of my body.  I can comprehend what people are saying around me and what not but I can't feel my feet touching the ground and I literally feel like I'm floating.  This happened yesterday with my girlfriend while at a coffee shop and once with my sister at a resteraunt.  So I'm with people I feel safe around so I don't think its anxiety related. 

So if anyone knows if these are wellbutrin related or can give me any information about seizures I would greatly appreciate it

This is an old post but I think my answer may help with future questions.

Is the Wellbutrin XL generic?  As the XL is a once-a-day time release, it is important how much is released and when.  The release is supposed to be constant and steady.  However, one generic XL, manufactured by Teva, has been reported to release the drug too quickly, causing more side effects and lesser efficacy.

For the testing, ConsumerLab.com purchased both the original Wellbutrin XL 300 mg sold by GlaxoSmithKline and the generic version sold by Teva ... and had six samples of each drug analyzed. While both drugs contained the stated amount of the active ingredient, bupropion, "dissolution testing" showed that the generic drug, which has a different time-release mechanism, released the active ingredient into a solution at a quicker rate.

"The Teva product released nearly half of its ingredients in the first four hours," says Cooperman. "The original Wellbutrin released 25 percent."

Within the first two hours, 8 percent of the original Wellbutrin had dissolved, compared with 34 percent of the Teva product, according to Cooperman. By 16 hours, both drugs had released all the medicine.

If the active ingredient is released more quickly into a patient's bloodstream, that could mean there is less medication available to the patient later ... It also may explain why some readers who wrote in complained of more side effects, such as headache, irritability and nausea, given they may have received a higher dosage of the medicine upfront, he says. "Too much Wellbutrin can cause side effects, even the potential for seizure," he says.
