Clean EMG= clean bill of health.

I got a clean EMG and was so convinced that I had some horrible disease, that I broke down and cried in the car. I thanked God for giving me great results and that I wouldn't worry again
I broke that promise a week later when I thought about maybe I had went to soon to the doctor and he didnt do the left side of my body, etc.

That was 3 years ago.

Yes, you're fine. The EMG would have picked something up right away.

My twitching was all over.

You have a clean EMG, so you should be very happy about it.

You don't need another EMG.

If u had fibrillations and positive sharp waves along with spasticity and hyper reflexes, then I would see why you would want another EMG...

BUT if you have a normal physical, normal reflexes, and a clean EMG, it's virtually impossible to have something bad. I wasted a year of my life worried because of my muscle twitches and although I still have a lil bit to this day, I'm fine.

You have to learn to relax and know you're ok. You had all the necessary tests and passed with flying colors.

Yes. And my chin, nose, tongue, armpit, scalp, etc.

You name it and I've had it.

I had a serious injury to my nerves after being mauled by a dog in 1994.  The neuro explained that he was putting the needles in the nerve centers to check for the flow or interrupted flow of nerve impulses so I had them in my hip area and ankle. My injury was middle of my lower leg.

The neuro knows where those nerve centers are and you don't.  Trust him.

Be HAPPY that you have a clean EMG.  Mine was not.  I have neuropathy and it sucks.

If you have a clean EMG, you are FINE.  Stop worrying.  The doctor tests the nerves where he does for a reason.  Just because he didn't' stick the needle where YOU think he should have done doesn't mean that he didn't test the nerves that are twitching.  The nerves run ALL up and down your legs.  He doesn't need to test a specific spot to know whether or not the nerve is working.

Relax.  Deep breath.  You are fine.
