Evening anxiety. Punctured lung.
« on: September 03, 2014, 02:42:22 AM »
For some reason one of my biggest fears is ingesting something that is potentially dangerous to me. From chemicals to foreign objects. Today I was ripping a tag off of a garment of clothing and the smaller plastic end sort of flung somewhere. My anxious brain decided that it must have gotten into my nose, I must have inhaled it, and now it's in my body on its way to puncture my lung or some other important organ. I can't shake the anxiety. I feel nauseated, my chest is tight, and I feel like something is stuck in my throat. It's like something new works up my anxiety every day, and it's getting exhausting.

There's no way in the world that could've happened without your noticing.

I agree with Molly; inhaling something such as hard plastic would have been felt and you'd certainly have been coughing.
