Pain in finger

I have pain/ache in my arm and down to one of my fingers (the ring finger) that comes and goes and I know for sure I haven't done anything special that could cause this. Can it somehow come from my neck and/or shoulder? I don't have any pain there at the moment... a bit of ALS worry...

You actually could injure it very easily. That's pain caused by the Ulnar nerve, which is the largest unprotected nerve in your body. Minor injury to it is very common - you could do it by just bumping your elbow against something in just the wrong place. But it heals very quickly too.
