Its under my eye lid and I can feel it is slightly raised but it is tiny. Like a regular freckle. Is it being slightly raised OK too?

Thank you mollyfin. I'm more relaxed nowm the only thing that bothers me at all is that I can feel it through my eyelid when I press, so it probably is very slightly raised. Otherwise, it has all safe characteristics. (Brown and one colour, tiny, just a symmetrical dot, etc).
Should I be concerned that its slightly raised? Is it worth getting checked out by a doc? I've been avoiding Cuz I've been to the doctor so much lately for random crap.

I have a friend who has 3 or 4 on her eye.  the coolest thing EVER.

well marie  as you KNOW----  you google, you will scare yourself.  it is one of those truths around here. If you keep shooting yourself in the foot, it can't heal.   so what else can be said about the ramifications of googling, really?

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state

I don't have the first idea if they were raised or not.  It was not something she ever brought up in conversation.  and it wouldn't have been something I would have bothered asking about.  I just thought it made her eyes very unique and cool.   btw--she is many years older than you and still lives

QUIT doing the reactive stuff.  Yes I know you know.  but if you don't  put your knowing to good use, if you say I know then do the same things over again,  then you are going to believe you are circling the drain your whole life.   I mean if that is the kinda life you want, then, well....  However, if you want a better life than that,   stop using the guns to shoot yourself in the foot.

Okay stepping off of my soapbox,  :angel-smiley-006:

good luck and be well.

I have one too. I don't think it is raised, but it has been there all my life.

Nine doesn't look raises. Just feels that way but Idk if that means it is.
Anyways, I went to the doctor and he said I'm being ridiculous (in a nicer way) and that many ppl have these and he didn't even think about melanoma until I asked. Unless it changes or I Starr to have fluid or extremely red eye that its totally alright.
Is it safe to get rid of this fear now?

cross that one off your list. the eye dr has told you that it is fine. what more can you do really? my son(OMG)has these and i freaked out when i saw them. eye dr said they are fine. i cannot do more than that. i take him once a year and i'm trusting that if there is an issue, the EXPERT(the dr not me)will know it and we will handle it from there.
that's what i think you should do to.

no more google

Thanks reece. I'm trying.

The picture was approved, anyone know what it is? I can feel it through my lid. After googling it, nothing particularly sinister comes up but nothing specific either except for a few benign issues that sound similar but don't look the same when I google it.
