I have a dentist appt on the 3rd of next month, they're going to see if I have tmj, does anybody ahve an idea of what they might do to see if I do have tmj?
i'm a little worried, I don't want them making my situation worse, i'm in no pain can still eat and everything else.

I have had tmj for, literally, decades. Your dentist will probably look at your bite and ask you some questions - does your jaw click when you open it, do you get pain around your tmjs, etc. Why do you think you might have tmj? My dentist gave me a mouth guard, which I wear only when my tmj acts up.

What concerns you of tmj if you have no pain or anything of discomfort.
