I have a "small" overbite on my front teeth and jaw popping.. I do grind my teeth at night, again i'm terrified as hell to go to the dentist.. i'm afriad they're going to say surgery cause of my overbite.

Has anybody have this kind of thing before, I really need some help!

I have exactly the same thing as you...exactly...

I have been to countless dentists over the years for a variety of things (the mst recent being last week) as well as ENTs because I was convinced that I have TMJ (I don't).  Not once did any of those docs suggest surgery to correct an overbite or to address TMJ.  Not once.

You might want to look into a night guard to wear while you sleep.
