Right now I'm worried about leukemia, lymphoma, thyroid, some sort of throat, mouth, skin and breast cancer.

I was worried about leukemia a few weeks ago, now I am worried about lymphoma.  Before that  I worried about ,myeloma, melanoma and breast cancer.

All of this in the span of 3 months.  I figure I would be pretty darn sick by now.

Earlier in the year I was convinced that I had thyroid, colon, breast and oral C all at the same time. That would be almost impossible to have all of those at once but try telling a "hypochondriac" that

When my HA is raging, I imagine that my body is riddled with every type of cancer known to mankind...and, of course, being the good hypochondriac that I am, I will be the one to get the new, never before seen cancer!  :fragend005:

HA is really tough...

Yes!  Then I scare myself MORE by thinking, "Well, I have to be right about ONE of them!"  And then of course any symptoms I had that made me think anything all went away and the cycle repeats itself.

Hey Marie, I used to be a bad hypo myself but have gotten it under control with some lifestyle changes/beliefs. At my worst I found much reassurance with a site called justanswer, they have a monthly service that goes for 40$ a month and allows to to ask all the health questions to qualified surgeons and doctors. It works great because while yes you can never seem to be convinced nothing is wrong being constantly told by doctors you have no problems can affirm you have nothing wrong with you.

It also saves you money from doctor appointments!  ;D

Yes. but usually I get scared a cancer I was already worrying about has spread. Like, if I'm worried I have bone cancer, and then later on get a head ache, i get scared that my bone cancer has spread to my brain.

Constantly, but I don't think I have them all at once.  I just figure, well, I have to be right about ONE of these, I just don't know which one yet.
