burning stomach

I have been having burning sensation in my stomach. I took prilosec for 14 days and it helped but after i finished it, the burning pain came back. Dr says its ibs. But can ibs cause burning sensation?

I don't see why not - your gut is in the same area so it may bet THAT burning.   I've had heartburn, etc for years and years and years.  And mine always comes back after things like that.   Stress, anxiety, etc all can cause that.
