So I had an upper endoscopy yesterday and all went well. I had slight reflux irritation in my esophagous and slight gastritis due to the stress of my mom's sudden passing. He did 2 biopsies. Yesterday afternoon, I tried to eat bread and it was so painful going down. It felt like my esophagous shrunk or was really swollen or something. It hurts to swallow, even water and I can barley eat chicken broth. Called my doc and they said everyone reacts different and prescribed me something to coat my esophagous which of course is not helping. I don't know what to do but wait it out as it seems that is was really irritated by the procedure and just has to heal. Anyone else dealt with this? Any feedback would be so comforting. Thank you!
