Nightmares
« on: August 19, 2014, 11:06:45 AM »
I developed PTSD due to an 8 year abusive marriage but I've been dealing with that pretty well lately. I was also diagnosed with PTSD after losing my son 4 years ago. I haven't dealt well with that at all. I went months without nightmares though but now they're back. I have been having such a hard time lately with depression, anxiety, panic disorder and OCD that sleep was my only respite. Now I don't even have that. I feel like I'm going crazy, like my mind is going to break. I can't stop reliving things and having these horrible thoughts and fears. They're ALWAYS on my mind. I desperately need something to change but can't afford counseling.

Does anybody know any self help methods or books that are successful for anxiety and PTSD?

If you PM me your email address I will send you an E book. It is a CBT book. Basic therapy methods. That is if you are interested in it. Small snag is email addresses are filtered out. There are 3 main ones. First initial will do. Like H I would know is for the hot one. G I would know to simply put mail after it. The at sign is filtered out too. So just write the word ' at '. I will understand.
