anyone else worry about Creutzfeldt-jakob disease?
« on: August 18, 2014, 09:00:43 PM »
And avoid beef as a result? This has to be one of my most irrational fears.

I've always known about the disease but didn't read up on it fully until recently. I found reading about it interesting and scary I guess but now I've found myself avoiding all beef at all costs because I'm afraid I will get it.
Anyone else have a similar fear?

I never heard of it until now and after looking it up, I have absolutely no fear of ever getting it nor should you. Gotta agree with you that based on what I read, it's a pretty irrational fear. Besides, like isn't life without a good steak once in a while. You stand a better chance of hitting the lotto... did you buy a ticket? ;)
