You have nothing to worry about! Poo changes color depending on your diet. Eat some beets and you'll think you're bleeding out of your bum! You can look up some lovely pictures of baby poo to see what is and isn't jaundiced, if you really want. I did that once and it helped ;P

My GI physician told me that stool color variations are normal.

No doubt that it wouldn't, now just don't start a diet of chocolate, licorice and black coffee or you'll be back worried about BLACKISH colored stools! ;)

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state
