Lymphoma help
« on: July 08, 2014, 06:34:52 PM »
Was sent to the oncologist hematologist for night sweats and pain in chest my wbc was also a 3.7 but since has gone up. When I got there today they took my temp and it was 99.4 . I got really scared because isn't that a low grade fever? And that's a symptom of lymphoma. They also ordered a chest x ray and that came back normal. I just can't help obsessing about the temperture. I took my temp by my thermometer later and it varies between 98.7 and 98.9. Help! Would a chest xray show lymphoma? And what about the temperture?

Hey, you are just sick, and I mean the ordinary type of "sick" , it is probably a flu or something :)

I don't think I'm just normal sick I have no flu signs . The Temp was 99.4 at the hematologist and when I came home later the temp was normal. I'm worried I'm having the mild temps more often cause I never check my temp. Would a chest xray show lymphoma if that is what it is. I have had night sweats and pain in chest for two months.

It does not sound like a lymphoma to me, lyphoma has a good bunch of other symptoms which you do not say you have, be calm, enjoy life, and do not worry :)
