Waiting for something to happen

Hi , joined up here a short while ago . I'm about 3-4 weeks from seeing a doctor about my anxiety . I'm just  wondering is a symptom of it been anxious and continually waiting for bad things to happen , been on edge all the time .

You mean, that something bad is about to happen, or just something general? (Like an important email or meeting?)

Oh, sorry, I should read more carefully. Anyway, This is in my opinion normal fear. I'm getting anxious quite often about this. The feeling, that something bad is about to happen and I have to be prepared. And I'm always asking: What if?

Is this similar to your fear?

It hits me from time to time but passes as well . Just been on edge thinking some catastrophe will happen .
