I read this and it made me cry but for the first time in days I cried in a good way.  I finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel and felt like I wasn't alone for the first time in a long while.  It gave me the sense that someone understands and not only understands but actually cares.  I know that sounds odd as I haven't been on this forum even a day yet but it was nice just to feel as though I don't have to fight my private war because thats what we all do and at the end of the day, we can and will all support each other and be back up when someone needs it.  I am in the middle of my 'down days' but I know that if anyone needed me I'd still be there and I'm sure many of you would say the same so thank you for finally giving me peace in my heart that I don't have to be a 'lone soldier' and that looking for help is not in fact a sign of weakness but rather a show of strength because seeking help is a hard step that does honestly take strength so thank you so so much

Tiger, thanks for the post, it's a perfect example of what I hope to find here. Being new I'm not completely sure what to expect, but I hope for making a few friends and beating SAD. I've felt and done a lot of what you wrote, I am starting to think my next step is to see Psychiatrist. That was my New Years Resolution that I have yet to get done but I think I may finally find a place to call home here. Somewhere I can be myself with others who are like me. Thanks again for inspiration!

Thanks TIGERPAW!!!  Really appreciated reading your post.  I myself am a newbie to this website and i am already feeling great that i stumbled across this site a couple of days ago.  Just being able to read the various posts out there i have elt better knowing that i am not the only one and that it does control peoples lives.  I am hoping to be able to start making some steps towards improving my lifestyle and regaining control of my anxiety and panic attacks so that i can live a life that is out there to be enjoyed.

I thank you very much for your post and once again it gives me hope for the now and the future

I am new here, kind of reading thru, hoping to find something that i can incorporate into my life. This brainfog, as you call it is invading my life, its hard for me to understand because ive never felt like this before. Having to fight with myself to talk to people at work. Seperating myself at lunch breaks, dread having to go to a store. The fog is just getting thicker. Im getting lost. Why cant i snap out of it? Why do i feel so alone surrounded by people? I feel eyes judging, i feel scared of what they may see.....

Oh wow.  Just oh, wow...

How beautifully written.

And I so understand not being understood by people, Dr.'s, ect.

I have a fear of medication (because of health anxiety I feel they might give me cancer - stupid, I know, and because my mother is addicted to all kinds of prescription meds).

However, recently, it might be the way to go for me.

I'm so glad someone finally heard you.

Your writing is so beautiful.  Do you have published works?  If not, why not ;D  And if so, what are they?  I'd love to read more.

I've got the same issues as well. I just don't know what to do any more, the more I try, the more I seem to fail and feel very embarrassed. Things have got to change, but how?  :(
