Belly button thing
« on: July 07, 2014, 07:57:27 PM »
So for whatever reason, I was digging in my belky button and squeezing the sides around it and I felt whwt feels like a smooth semi hard lump. It moves when I squeeze it. My husband said it is probably scar tissue from my belly button piercing that closed up. Its under the skin but not deep. Any opinions? You can't feel it when you press on my stomach just when you pinch in my belly button.

Is it located where your belly ring once was?

Its a couple millimeters to the right. I have gained weight since I took it out and had my first baby.

I went through some old posts and apparently it isn't uncommon. It's more soft than hard. My grandma said maybe a hernia. It's smooth and moves easy when I try to pinch it.
