Questions about dry and rinse free shampoo
« on: July 07, 2014, 02:37:02 AM »
Hi everyone.  Does anyone happen to know the best dry shampoo with no residue to use?  I tried a couple.  Tresemme, and Not your mother's version.  It gave me so much stickyness  :sick0002:. And any other recomendations for shampoo that is wet but you  just dry it with a towl after applying.  My hair is thick dark neutral brown, and short like  victoria beckham's bob.

  Thanks everyone.  :happy0151:

You could just use water  Plain water- Rinse cold for shine.

If your hair tends to get a little oily maybe a little cornstarch at night...... You can use plain cornstarch to "fluff things up", too, vs shampoo.

I know you said your hair is thick: but for those with thin hair, water and baking soda really add body.

Huh that's interesting.  I will look into it, and I also will switch shampoos on and off.  I herd that helps since your hair gets use to your regular shampoo.  I also bought a rince free shampoo with foam.  I'll try that, and now and then I use baby powder.  Thanks redapples  :happy0151:

I use Pureology. A bit pricey, but it works for me! I would say all dry shampoos are going to leave some kind of feeling in your hair. You can diminish it by thoroughly brushing your hair or massaging the dry shampoo in with your fingertips. I have the best luck with dry shampoos when my hair is actually dirty. I don't get as much out of it when I just want a refresher.
